It happened onto this location by accident, and it turned out to be my lucky day. Excellent halal steak and courteous service. They give you a bowl of popcorn after you’re seated so you can take off your mask! Isn’t that thoughtful? For a steak that virtually melts in your mouth, the price is reasonable. It’s not excessively marinated, so you can taste the beef, and it comes with three sauce options for an extra fee. The atmosphere is fantastic. I went there for lunch at about 1 p.m. and it was really busy, which is wonderful because many other F&B establishments are struggling. For dinner, it’s best to make a reservation.

Everything we ordered was delicious, but I’ll focus on the eel and bone marrow, as well as the OP Rib.

This is my fifth visit. The steak is among the best in Singapore, and the rice is unquestionably my favorite ( yummy fat round Japanese rice with truffle). The wine is of excellent quality and is also reasonably priced.

Best. Steak. Ever. No kidding. We got the Black Onyx Ribeye, 300gm. The meat was so tender and went really well with the sauce (can’t remember what the sauce was), I’m almost salivating writing this. The 2nd star of the show was the mac and cheese, so delicious. Enjoyed the truffle fries too, the truffle taste was good and strong. Ordered a crab cake to try and it was chock full of crab flesh 😋

Wonderful Service, delicious food! My wife and I tend to share food. They were kind enough to split our food and serve them on separate bowls and hot plates. The complimentary birthday chocolate cake was the cherry on top! We had the Japanese Aged Wagyu; meat was tender and flavorful. Just stick to salt and pepper to season the meat for the best flavor. The flat breads, roasted tomato soup were awesome too! Will definitely come back!

I went to their new Club Street location and was seated near to the window, which was very wonderful. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy on the inside and with a lovely crust. Very well done. It’s easy to recommend this restaurant for a wonderful steak dinner. The portions are quite large. The service is excellent. The lighting and atmosphere are somewhat dark, but I suppose that’s the vibe they’re looking for. The mac and cheese, as well as the chocolate lava cake, are must-tries. He uses a flame-grill for his steaks at this hawker stall on East Coast Road, so expect restaurant-quality steaks.

One of their hallmark dishes is the Beef Wellington (S$30, S$33 with foie gras), which consists of tenderloin coated in pâté and duxelles (mushroom paste), wrapped in puff pastry, then baked.

In Chef Jimmy’s version of this meal, instead of pâté de foie gras, a tiny slice of pan-seared foie gras is inserted into the mushroom duxelles. The grass-fed Australian tenderloin, weighing 180g, is then smeared with this.

The Premium AZ Ribeye (S$25/240g) is another decent alternative. These hawker steaks are excellent value for money.

The beef tenderloin was delicious. The sides are fantastic. The beef wellington I sampled was delicious, and the pastry was light and fluffy.

I’ve been here twice in less than a week. The food is undoubtedly Instagram-worthy, and more importantly, it’s worth the hour-plus drive.
The restaurant itself is charming and intimate, making it ideal for date nights or family dinners. All I’ve tasted has been delicious, so I recommend making numerous trips to sample everything they have to offer!

On a Thursday night, I went to MediumRare.
Grilled chicken chop with mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts was my order. The sides are delectable, and the chicken is delicate and moist. The flavour of the chicken sauce is well-balanced.
Not to mention their cappuccino and crepe cake, which are delicious after a dinner. The staff is pleasant, and the restaurant has a pleasant setting in which to dine.

Excellent cuisine. The bone in the rib eye was cooked to perfection. For the sides, I really recommend the wild mush room. We brought our newborn here, and the staff was really friendly and accommodating.

The steak was of excellent quality, and the service was excellent. Duck breast was ordered, and the stake plater came with T-bone and Angus Hanger. The chef approached the guest table and discussed the order before asking for opinions on the flavour. This level of service is uncommon in Singapore. Both the meal and the service are highly recommended.
