30 Best Places For Brunch
Our preferred weekend meal is brunch, and we are not alone in this. And thus, we have prepared a list of 30 Best Places For Brunch. But, what exactly is brunch?
Birthdays, baby showers, and “I haven’t seen you in so longs” are common occasions. But from where did this miraculous meal originate? The history of brunch is one of its most intriguing elements. You might be surprised to learn about its history given that this meal includes bacon, eggs, changes in the workplace for women, and much more.
Guy Beringer coined the term “brunch” for the first time in the year 1895 in the magazine “Hunter’s Weekly.” After the lengthy, hefty usual post-church lunches, Beringer was exhausted and suggested perhaps something lighter. Breakfast with a hint of lunch, if you will. However, the strongest push for brunch coincided with a significant turning point for American women. Women wanted a break from cooking when they started working, so the family was pushed to start eating out on Sundays, the day they would typically sit down to a meal as a family.
