Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, also known as Wan Qing Yuan and formerly Sun Yat Sen Villa, is a two-story colonial-style villa in the Singapore suburb of Balestier. A peaceful villa in which to learn about Singapore’s role in assisting Sun Yat Sen with his revolution. The museum also documents the larger story of Singapore’s Chinese community from colonial times to the 1950s. This museum is one of Singapore’s best national galleries to visit.

It is the site where, following the Battle of Singapore, the British army led by Lieutenant General Arthur Percival surrendered to the Japanese army led by Lieutenant General Yamashita Tomoyuki on 15 February 1942.
